Ruth V. McPeek, 83, of Elizabethtown Pa., formerly of Fort Collins, Dayton, Ohio, and Billings, Mont., died Sunday, April 5, 2009, at the Masonic Village Health Care Center, Elizabethtown Pa. She was the widow of Marshall "Mac" J. McPeek who died Jan 9, 1983; they had been married almost 32 years prior to his passing. Born in Lewistown, Mont., Ruth was the daughter of the late Samuel F. and Isa F. Dailey Bowman. Ruth was an account/ bookkeeper for the Gamble Robinson Co. of Bozeman Mont., a teller for the Winters National Bank of Dayton Ohio, and an office manager for Colorado Pacific Constructors and Lobar Inc. and Foster Lumber, both of Fort Collins. Ruth was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed cross-stitching, quilting, crocheting, and other crafts. Surviving is a son, Douglas H. McPeek of Elizabethtown, Pa. In addition to her husband and parents, Ruth was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Marie McPeek; and three brothers, Lester, Calvin and Eldred Bowman. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2009, at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St. Fort Collins, Colo. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
