After retirement in 1987, Ruth and Ken spent winters in Harlingen, Texas where they made many dear friends. Ruth moved with her husband, Kenneth to Wellington in 2003, after living in Walden in the same home for 56 years. She had been a North Park resident from the time she was three years old, leaving the Park only for a short time when Kenneth was in the military and a short period of residency in Cheyenne. She served as President of the North Park Pioneer Association.
