Ruth Faye Lichtenwaldt

Ruth Faye Lichtenwaldt, 85, of Fort Collins died September 28, 2010. Ruth was born March 16, 1925 in Loveland, Colorado to John and Mary Walker Zeiler. She married Henry Lichtenwaldt on August 19, 1942 at Pismo Beach, California. She attended school in Loveland, Colorado. She worked for Safeway Stores for 35 years, retiring in 1987. Ruth loved the outdoors; fishing in Canada, Yellowstone and Colorado, and traveling many years with her husband, Henry for vacations to Las Vegas. She was a long time member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, William Dale in 1961 and John Charles in 1947; four sisters, Lydia Sauer, Christina Nisewender, Mildred Sparkmen and Esther Loyd; and two nieces, Dorothy Chalk and Beverly Stephen. She is survived by her husband, Henry and five nieces and nephews. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
