Ruth Marie Hinnegan (Conklin), 83, passed away June 18, 2016. Ruth was born May 8, 1933 in
Holyoke, Colorado. A longtime resident of Fort Collins, she touched many lives working at Red Owl and Safeway grocery stores and doing day care out of her home. She leaves behind many who called her "mom" and even more proudly those who called her "grandma." She is survived by her only remaining sister in law: Ardis Conklin, sons: Jim (Jaynelle), Ed (Marlis), Francis (Patricia); grandsons, Robert (Elise),Harley, Tony Renner (Shirley); and friend Denise Wall, many nieces and nephews, and 4 great grandsons. Ruth was the last surviving member of her family preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, July 23, 2016 at George Beach, Post 4, American Legion,Fort Collins, CO starting at 11:00 a.m., luncheon to follow. Ruth was well known for welcoming others to her table. Please join us one last time to celebrate her life.
