Ruth E. Braun

Ruth E Braun, born Ruth Ellen Wagner on March 23, 1924 on a small farm in Sullivan, WI, was passed on to her Lord on Friday, November 5, 2010. Ruth was a smile and a song to many that knew her and believed each day was beautiful in and of itself. The Rocky Mountains were in her soul. She worked in nursing homes as an aide and was a host home provider for many years for the developmentally challenged. After retirement, her volunteering at Windsor Health Care gave her great joy. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Goossens and grandson, Nicholas Goossens. Survived by daughter?s, Betty Rafael Chaparro of Greeley, Robin Mitchell of Fort Collins, Vicki Lucero of Grand Junction; and sons, Robert Carolyn Goossens and Bryan Goossens of CA and James Goossens, Bermuda, and many extended family members. The family would like to thank the caring and nurturing staff of Golden Peaks and the Pathway Hospice. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
