Ruby Remington

Ruby A. Remington, 91, of Ft. Collins, died March 28, 2007, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Remington was born Sept. 27, 1915, in Taylor, Neb. Ruby married to Clifford Nickerson in 1945, and he preceded her in February 1969. Ruby then married Jerry Remington on May 8, 1970, in Fort Collins, and Jerry preceded her Sept. 13, 2002. Ruby lived in Cozad, Neb., Oxford, Neb., and Beaver City and for the last 58 years here in Fort Collins and Glacier View Meadows. She has been in Blue Grouse Nursing Home the last two years. She was a homemaker and loved to grow flowers. Ruby was a member of the Fort Collins Seventh-day Adventist Church. Mrs. Remington is survived by her two sons, Clifford Nickerson Jr. of Sherman, Texas and Roger Nickerson of Fort Collins; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. A private interment will be at Grandview Cemetery. The Rev. John Martin will officiate.
