Rosella Beth Beavers was born November 22, 1921 in Davenport, Nebraska to Myrtle Frost Heller and Tyndall Heller. At age 16, Rosella graduated from Davenport High School then attended Hebron Academy. December 3rd, 1939 she was married to Doniphan Beavers of Davenport.
She worked at the Hastings Ammunition Depot during World War II and raised 3 year old twins while Don was in the Navy. After the war, the family moved to Fairmont, Nebraska and opened Beavers market. It expanded to be a general store. In 1975 they retired and moved to Ft. Collins. Preceding Rosella in death are her husband Don, his parents, two brothers, a sister, and a son-in-law.
Rosella is survived by her children, Maxine Smith of Ft. Collins, Max Beavers Sandra of Ft. Collins, Graten Beavers of Kearney, Nebraska, Doug Beavers Cheryl of Ft. Collins, eight grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held, Monday, 11 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 301 E. Drake Rd. A graveside service will follow, Monday, 2 p.m. at Grandview Cemetery. Those who desire may view Mrs. Beavers, Sunday, 4-6 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
