Rose A. McRae, 70, of Fort Collins, died Jan. 4, 2006, at her residence. Mrs. McRae was born March 5, 1935, in LaPorte to Pete Lockman and Katie Meng Lockman. Rose married Donald A. McRae on June 7, 1953, in Fort Collins. She lived all of her life in this area and was a sales clerk at the Dress Boutique as well as a homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies Golf Association and enjoyed ceramics. Rose loved to read and spend time in her rose garden. She and Don also enjoyed traveling to Arizona in the winters. Mrs. McRae is survived by her husband, Donald A. McRae, of Fort Collins; two daughters, Rene Breen and Kandie Walters, both of Fort Collins; a brother, Charles Lockman, of Fort Collins; a sister, Rachel Burgess of Fort Collins; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Harry, Manuel, Fred, Albert, Reuben, and Pete, and two sisters, Mary and Gerry. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert Geller will be officiating at the service.
