Rosa Nolte, 89, of Fort Collins passed away on December 15, 2016. Rosa was born in Altheim, Germany to Magdalena Hummel. She moved to the US in the early 1950's. She settled in Denver where she met her husband Tony. They moved to Fort Collins in 1958. Rosa worked at JC Penney's. She was an active volunteer at St. Joseph's church and delivered food for Meals on Wheels. She loved to play cards, garden, knit and cook. Some of her favorite memories were made at the German club in Denver with her husband Tony where they enjoyed dancing and socializing. A gentle soul, Rosa will be missed by her many friends at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Rosa was preceded in death by her Mother Magdalena Jaeger, her Stepfather Max Jaeger, her husband Tony and a baby son. She is survived by her son, Richard; sister, Herta Neumann; brothers, Artur and Max Jaeger; cousins, Alfred Geiselhardt and Franz Hummel. A Rosary will be held 9 a.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2016 with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9:30 a.m. Both services will be held at Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Graveside Services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
