Ronny Lee Arnold

Ron lost his 6 month battle with colon cancer on March 3, 2021 at age 59. He was born in Dimmitt, TX in 1961 to Odell and Mildred Arnold. He was preceded in death by his son Stephen, 17, his brothers Bobby and Don, and his parents. He is survived by his wife Deena, daughter Megan (Scott) Kinder, sisters Judy Gretz and Debbie McDaniel, and extended family.

He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from SMU. His career spanned companies such as Fairchild, IBM, Digital Switch, Motorola, Hewlett Packard, AMD and Intel. During his career he was awarded 29 patents for innovations in microprocessor design.

Ron loved to be in nature and especially enjoyed fly fishing, rock climbing, and kayaking. He was also an accomplished wood worker who left many items of heirloom furniture for his family to enjoy for generations to come. He was a beloved husband, father, brother and friend; we will miss him dearly and we know he is with his Lord and family in heaven.
