Ronni Sue Kreikemeier (32) died unexpectedly on October 15, 2021 in her home in Fort Collins, Colorado. She will be remembered on October 19, 2021 at 6pm at Bohlender Funeral Chapel in Fort Collins, Colorado and on October 25, 2021 at 10:30 am at St John's Apostle Church in Lincoln, Nebraska, with a luncheon to follow
As a toddler, Ronni and her younger sister, Jennifer, were adopted into the family of Glen and Rose Kreikemeier of Dodge, NE. In elementary school, she relocated to Lincoln, Nebraska, and eventually attended Northstar High School.
Ronni made Glen and Rose grandparents for the first time when she welcomed Chloe Marie into the world on September 11, 2008. Chloe brought the family the brightest blue eyes and a fighter's spirit, immediately winning the hearts of all her aunts and uncle. Ronni blessed the family again when she welcomed Kayden Glen on September 19, 2012. Kayden added the biggest smiles and a rather rambunctious spirit to the Kreikemeier clan. Finally Ronni blessed us one more time with the birth of her youngest, Tucker Michael on August 1, 2019. His free-spirited personality will continue to bring joy to the family, allowing Ronni's memory to carry on through her children.
Those who knew Ronni know that life dealt her a difficult hand. Trauma and addiction were a part of her life from the beginning, and she worked very hard to overcome their grip. Her family and friends are incredibly proud of the steps she had made in recent years to heal herself and chart a new path forward for her children. Ronni will be remembered as a lover of animals, a kind and supportive friend, and a beloved mother.
Ronni is survived by her children: Chloe, Kayden, and Tucker; her siblings: Tracy (Chris), Jerad, Michelle, Shana (Doug), and Jennifer; her father: Glen Kreikemeier; and many nieces and nephews. Ronni is preceded in death by her mother, Rose Kreikemeier; and grandparents Francis Wortmann and Art and Berniece Kreikemeier.
