Ronald Wallace Streed

Ronald Ron Wallace Streed, 62, of Aurora, Colorado died in Ogallala, Nebraska, December 10, 2010. He was born in Denver to Lloyd L. and Reba Stanton Streed on April 9, 1948. Ron grew up in Denver and was a graduate of East High School. On May 13, 1988, he married the love of his life, Rose Shiarla, in Aurora, where they continued to live. At the time of his death, Ron was a salesman for Tool Specialist. He traveled Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, and Nebraska. He received recognition many times at the company?s annual conventions for his productivity. In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by his brother, Rodger and wife, Janet of Platteville; his brother, Ric and wife, Priscilla of Greeley; three nieces, Kristine Rankin and husband, Scott of Greeley; Danielle Redmond Streed and husband, Todd Redmond of Michigan; and Tirzah Streed of Windsor; one nephew, Ryan Streed and wife, Kay of Texas; and three great nieces, Krystle Rankin of Greeley; and Stanton Mary Streed and Bergen Krueger of Windsor. His parents preceded him in death. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Platteville, with interment at Mizpah Cemetery in Platteville. Arrangements entrusted to Bohlender Funeral Chapel in Fort Collins.
