Predeceased by loving wife: Mary. Survived by his siblings: Ray Sterling, Marie Kisling, Lyn Widor; and Mary's 4 Children, 8 Grand Children and 6 Great Grand Children.

Ron grew up in Buck Run, Pennsylvania. After serving in the United States Army he planted his roots in Rochester, New York to start his lengthy career at Eastman Kodak. He transferred to Kodak Colorado in Windsor in 1975 and married the love of his life Mary.

Ron's love of the outdoors continued to grow in Colorado. He was recognized as an Advanced Master Gardener and shared his expertise with local gardeners. Educating many to the joys of growing their own food. Ron and Mary were also patrons and board members of the Windsor Community Players. Helping to foster appreciation of the arts and music within the community.

While Ron never had his own children, his step children became his own family. Ron's love of his grandchildren and great grandchildren is what has become his greatest legacy.
