Ronald D. Null, 76, of Fort Collins, died September 15, 2013 after a brave battle with cancer. Mr. Null was born September 5, 1937 in Forest City, Illinois to Walter and Margaret Null. Ronald married Judith E. Tharp on November 28, 1957 in Kingston Mines, Illinois. Ronald moved to Fort Collins twenty eight years ago from Illinois. He was a Teamster for twenty years in Illinois and a concrete finisher for twenty years in Fort Collins. He loved to fish and bowl. Survivors include his wife, Judith; sons, Ronald F. Null Anna of Fort Collins and John Null Shannen of Austin, Texas; daughters, Beth Tamlin Jay of Fort Collins, son-in-law, Jack Gourley of Cornell, Il; brothers, Marlin, Richard, and Raymond Null all of Pekin, Illinois; sisters, Rosie Ritchie of Manito, Illinois, Mary Hyatt of Spring Lake, Illinois; thirteen grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. Preceding Ronald in death are his parents; daughter, Margaret "Meg" Gourley, preceded two weeks ago; and 8 brothers.
