Ronald Robert Hatfield

Ronald (Ron) Robert Hatfield, 93, passed away at his home on December 18, 2022. Ron was born to Monroe S. and Lillian A. Hatfield in Wellington, Colorado on May 27, 1929 and raised on the family farm near Wellington. Ron graduated from Wellington High School. After high school, Ron served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era.

Ron was a life-long coin collector (beginning when he was four years old), bowled for years in the Winter Leagues, a familiar face at the Wellington auction (he loved a good deal), and he was an owner/collector over the years of his favorite Fords, the early model Mustangs. Ron retired from Teledyne-Waterpick. Ron always had a smile and a good word for his family, friends, and fellow veterans.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Warren and Russell, his sister Carol, and his son Robert. He is survived by his daughter Ronda (John) Frederici.

A private service will be held in the spring. Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery in Ft. Collins, next to his son.
