Roine R. Schmidt, 89, of LaPorte passed away on August 16, 2024 at a local nursing care facility. Roine was born in Ft. Collins on February 17, 1935 to Ray Maxwell and Ethie Stockon Maxwell.
Roine married Lloyd John Schmidt on July 18, 1954 in Fort Collins.
Roine worked for many years as a bookkeeper for the Elks Lodge #0804. She enjoyed golf and was a Rockies and Broncos fan.
Survivors include two sons Rod Schmidt and his wife, Robbie, Roger Schmidt and his wife, Sharon all of ft. Collins; one brother Floyd Maxwell of Ft. Collins, and a granddaugher, Margo Sullivan and her husband, Colin of Wellington, CO.
Preceding Roine in death are her parents and her husband, Lloyd.
A graveside service will be held 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Grandview Cemetery.
