Roger Brent Kroeger

We are sad to announce the passing of Roger Kroeger, of Fort Collins, Colorado, a caring, loving husband, father, father-in-law, Poppy and loyal friend. Dad died at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, at the age of 75 on July 28th, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones. He was very loved and will be missed terribly.

Roger and Judy relocated to Fort Collins from Kearney, Nebraska in the summer of 1969 to study wildlife biology at his beloved Colorado State University. Roger enjoyed sports, as well as reading about Civil War battles and spending time with his family. Dad was a long time Ram and Cornhusker athletics enthusiast. He loved watching Colorado Rockies baseball - and then complaining about their performance. He was a skilled fisherman, reminding us often that he was a multiple time state of Colorado master angler. He took pride in keeping a beautiful yard, home and tending to a productive garden for 46 consecutive years.

Roger is survived by his incredible wife Judy, son Jeff and daughter-in-law Mary Kroeger of Loveland, daughter Shelly Skutchan and granddaughter Kennedy Skutchan of Fort Collins.

As per the family's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held, rather, the family is planning a private weekend celebration of Dad's life in the fall at the place he loved most – his cabin.
