Robert J. Silhasek

Robert (Bob) Silhasek, age 90, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday January 19th, he was surrounded by three generations of family, in his beloved family home. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce, three siblings and a son in law. Robert is survived by his children and their spouses. Chris and Gary, Bob and Sally, Donna, Sandy and Chuck, Mark, Dan and Christine and Beth and Jerry. As well as 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, his siblings, Lynn, Donna and Dave and his sister-in-law Reida.

Bob was born and raised in Omaha; he moved his family to Fort Collins in 1968. Robert and his wife Joyce raised seven children. They were married for 66 years. They found joy in hosting parties, holidays and Sunday dinners. He was a devoted father, grandfather and friend. To Robert nothing was more important than family, he always wanted the best for them. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
