Listen to Obituary
Robert "Bob" Eugene Reed, Jr. of Wellington, CO, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

Bob was born September 17, 1957, in Fort Collins, Colorado to Robert Eugene Reed, Sr. and Mae Rose Sebben. He was one of six children. He grew up on a rural farm in Wellington, CO where he helped his parents and siblings tend to the animals and where he began his lifelong love of the outdoors.

Bob married the love of his life, Wendy Ann Adel in 1981. From this loving marriage came 3 children, Aaron Christopher Reed (Rachel), Brittany Adel Keller (Ryan), and Robert Brendan Reed.

He spent his career as an operator and manager of Soldier Canyon Water Treatment Plant and upon retiring, spent many years as a water treatment consultant and project manager.

Bob loved hunting, fishing, and cowboy action shooting, as well as gardening. He was an avid gardener and could be found planting, tending to, and harvesting his hundreds of pepper plants. He especially loved spending time with and enjoying his grandchildren. Bob had many traveling adventures together with his family, including recent trips to Texas, South Dakota, and Oklahoma. He also loved playing board games and cards with family and friends. He and Wendy spent the last 10 months enjoying retired life together.

He is survived by Wendy, his three children, three grandchildren (Kylie & Nathan Keller; Lyanna Reed), and his five siblings. A private family ceremony will be held in celebration of his life.

Bob will be dearly missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
