Robert Lester Hixon was born in Juanita NE on June 24 1931.
He had been living at his farm in Wellington, CO for the past few years. He passed away peacefully at the home of his son & daughter-in-law, Timothy and Nancy, where he was cared for during his illness.
He is survived by his wife Mildred Hixon, three sons, Randy Hixon,Timothy Hixon and Mark Hixon, two daughter-in-law's Judy Hixon, & Nancy Hixon. And two nieces four grandchildren, and one great grandson. Robert (Bob) was a very active person and always kept busy. He enjoyed going to the Cenntennial Cattle Sale & Auctions in Ft Collins. He really loved his animals. Bob had several goats, sheep, mules and donkeys.
Bob belonged to a Mule Club, and rode in local parades with them. He will be sorely missed by all.
