Robert Eugene Dickson passed away peacefully at home, January 31, 2018, surrounded by family.
Bob was born June 12, 1943 at Larimer County Hospital. He grew up in Bellvue and attended Cache La Poudre Schools. Bob also attended Greeley Commercial College.
In 1965 Bob began his career with Sterling Sand and Gravel with a wage of $2.85 an hour, driving truck. He became their hot plant operator, building countless roads. The men and women he worked with became his family and meant a great deal to him. He retired in 2004.
In 1970 Bob married Linda Hendrix and her children in Olathe, CO, and soon after moved the family to Fort Collins. On January 3, 1978 Linda gave birth to Robert Eugene II.
On December 30, 2000 Bob wed Rosemary (Mary) Glover in Fort Collins. Mary has embraced all of Bob's children as her own. She worked tirelessly caring for Bob in these last difficult years. Bob leaves behind his very special Pomeranian Baby.
Bob is survived by his wife, Rosemary; his son, Bobby (Alexis); grandsons, Ashton and Roman; his step children, Allen Hendrix (Carol), and Shanda Meserlian (Charlie); his brother, Jack and brother-in-law, Johnny West and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Jeremiah and Molly (Gideon); his sister, Mary Ann West and brother, James.
