Robert "Bob" H. Davis, 81, of Sand Creek Park passed away November 18th, 2010. He was born March 12th, 1929 in Paola, Kansas to Ralph and Dora Davis. In 1937 they moved to Colorado. He served in the Colorado National Guard from 1948 to 1952. On June 3rd, 1950 Bob married Lilas A. Ducker in Fort Collins. He was an electrician with Ideal Cement and NCR. He enjoyed spending time in the mountains and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a very kind and loving man who was very close to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They all love him very much and will miss him greatly. Bob is survived by three children, Terry L. Davis of Loveland, Laurie Kitchen of Nunn, Colorado and Katherine Davis of Barefoot Bay, Florida; a brother, Donald L. Davis of Ogallala, Nebraska; seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren. Preceding Robert in death are his wife and both parents. A Graveside Service will be held at Grandview Cemetery on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Ken Gunter will officiate the service.
