Richard "Dick" Stouffer, 72, passed away peacefully in his sleep Jan. 19, 2007, at the Life Center at Columbine Care Center West. Dick was born March 29, 1934, in Fort Collins to Dent and Ada Stouffer. He leaves behind his son, Jim Stouffer and two daughters, Karen Yovanoff and Kathy Olson. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Brooke, Laura and Sarah Stouffer; Rachael and Mary Yovanoff; and Ryan and Kelli Olson. He left behind two sisters, Beverly Gonzales of Denver and Dorthy Wright of Rifle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Stouffer and his daughter, Judy Stouffer. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bob Stouffer. Dick graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1954. Dick's passion for photography resulted in his opening of the chain of Western Camera stores. He loved skiing, RV camping, boating and vacationing with his family. Dick was a longstanding member of the Elks Lodge. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Hospice Chaplain Maria McLain Cox will officiate at the service. Private interment will be held at Grandview Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Elk's Lodge, 140 East Oak St., following the memorial service.
