Richard Joseph Schultz was born on November 25, 1968 in Bozeman, Montana. He passed away on December 15, 2011 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Richard graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in 1987. He served as a United States Marine. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Schultz and Diego Reyes; father, Jack Schultz and his wife, Mary Richling; two brothers, Steve and Robert Schultz; sister, Jill Valdez and her husband, Zachary. He had six nieces and nephews, Dana, Kyle, Mason, Amanda, Johanna, and Elliana. He also is survived by three step-brothers, Justin, Chris, and Nick Richling.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Animal House or The Larimer County Humane Society in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
