Richard D. Jordan, 80 of Ft. Collins, passed away at his home on March 11, 2021. Richard was a New Year's Day baby and was born on January 1, 1941 to Phillip Jordan and Rachel Schwindt Jordan.
Richard married Marilyn Kay Hottle in Ft. Collins on June 12, 1960.
Richard worked for the Public Service Company of Colorado for 35 years. He loved fishing and yardwork.
Survivors include his wife of almost 60 years Marilyn Jordan; his son, Lennie and his wife Andrea; a brother, Ralph Jordan and his wife Mary Ann of Ft. Collins; one sister Ruth Whitman of Ft. Collins; two grandchildren, James Jordan and his wife, Lauren of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Danny Jordan and his wife Sara Heffley of Ault, Colorado, and two great-grandchildren, Nathan and Kaleigh Jordan.
Preceding Richard in death are his parents.
A service celebrating Richard's life will be held, 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 19, 2021 at Windsong Estate Event Center, 2901 Saddler Blvd., Ft. Collins.
