Richard H. Jensen, 55, of Bellvue, died March 31, 2006, peacefully at home. He was born Oct. 2, 1950, in Chicago, Ill., to John H. Jensen and Delores Stanislawiak. He graduated from the University of Chicago with high honors in mechanical engineering. He married Donna Jensen on Nov. 14, 2000, in Key West, Fla. Rick, retired, was formerly founder, owner and CEO of a local Fort Collins company that designed, manufactured and distributed replacement parts for high-speed copiers and laser printers. His hobbies included hot rod cars, boating and drag racing. Rick loved to fish. He has many trophy mounts of a variety of fish he caught and released deep sea fishing. His favorite pastime was fishing in local lakes and Glendo, Wyo., for walleye. Rick loved his two golden retriever dogs, Jaxson and Harley. He was loved by many people and was known as an honest, hardworking, straightforward man. He is survived by his wife, Donna Jensen; his sister, Lynn Hall, of Littleton; and his father, John Jensen of Fort Collins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Stanislawiak. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bohlender Funeral Home. Services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, also at Bohlender Funeral Home. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Larimer County or Larimer Humane Society in care of Bohlender Funeral Home, 121 W. Olive St., Fort Collins, CO 80524.
