Richard Harlan Dunlap, 77, of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away on Christmas Day, 2018 in Fort Collins. Harlan was born in Oshkosh, Nebraska, February 15, 1941, the son of Richard and Winifred (Beans) Dunlap. He graduated from Bridgeport High School, Bridgeport, Nebraska, class of 1959 and later graduated from the University of Wyoming, School of Pharmacy.

Harlan married Marlene Peterson in 1964. Following graduation, they lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming and Fort Collins.

He retired from pharmacy after 35 years and enjoyed traveling, RVing, motorcycles, and golfing.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene; son, Mark (Dana) of Windsor, Colorado; daughter, Debra (Kevin) Varoz of Fort Collins, and four grandchildren, Chaz and Cade Dunlap, Tate and Riley Varoz; and a brother, Don (Denise) of Loma, Colorado.

Preceding Harlan in death are his parents and baby daughter, Vickie.

A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, Fort Collins, CO. Memorial Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Timberline Church, South Auditorium, 2908 Timberline Rd., Fort Collins, CO. Private interment will be held at Grandview Cemetery, Fort Collins, CO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dementia Friendly Communities and Pathways Hospice of Larimer County in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
