With that in mind:
Richard C Dillon was called home on Friday, September 8th. Born to Frances and Ethel in Berwin, IL on October 18th, 1934, he raised a family of nine children, served in the United States Air Force, co-founded the Night Owls CB radio club, owned a successful small business (Talon Technical), was an accomplished ametur photographer, loved model railroading, jazz, HAM radio and roller skating with his family. He even had a pair of precision skates custom adjusted and specially reserved for him at the skating rink.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Robert (Bob) Dillon. He is survived by his wife of 61 years- Carol, his children Kevin, Jeff, Steve, Anne, Jennifer, Tim, Chris, and Colleen, 26 grand children and 24 great grand children.
Look out Heavenly Host- here is a man deeply loved, richly blessed "... and sliding in sideways- Manhatthan in one hand, steak in the other- body thouroughly used up, totally worn out, and shouting: Woot Woot, what a wild ride!"
Rosary and mass will be held at 9am on Tuesday, September 12th at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Collins, CO.
