Ricardo D. Rodriguez, 81, of Ft. Collins, CO passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 25, 2017.
Ricardo was born on January 5, 1936 in Bishop, TX to Gonzalo and Guadalupe Rodriguez. He married Mercedes Galvan on February 6, 1959. They raised 5 children.
Ricardo retired from CSU after 32 yrs.
Survivors include his children, Sylvia Stevens(James), Diane Ackerman(Robert), Michael Rodriguez(Christy), and Norma Rodriguez(Abraham), Brothers, Gonzalo Jr. and Robert, and sister, Margie; 10 grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Matthew, Tina, Kristin, Bobby, Kristi, Amanda, Jordan, Marisa; and 7 great-grandchildren, Oakley, Jackson, Derrick, Mikah, Kodah, Natalie, and Emmett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mercedes; and his son, Mario.
We would like to sincerely thank Pathways Hospice and Parkwood Estates for all the love and support given throughout our Dad's/Grandpa's life.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at Roselawn Cemetery. A Reception will follow at Knights of Columbus, 121 N. Meldrum Street, Ft. Collins, CO 80524
