Ricardo ''Ricky'' Cruz

Ricardo "Ricky" H. Cruz, 51, of Fort Collins, died April 15, 2009 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mr. Cruz was born March 24, 1958 in Lubbock, Texas to Pedro Cruz and Petra Hernandez Cruz. Mr. Cruz was self-employed as a custodian and mechanic. Survivors include his ex-wife, Maria Ortiz of Ft. Collins; a son, Gary Cruz of Loveland; four daughters, Ruby Cruz, Sherry Cruz, and Esmeralda Munoz-Montes all of Ft. Collins, and Patsy Perez of Greeley; five brothers, Gabriel Cruz, Joe Hernandez, Juan Zamora, and Jesse Cruz all of Ft. Collins, and Pedro Cruz of Tahoka, Texas; five sisters, Margarita Cruz, Dominga Cruz, Olga Cruz all of Ft. Collins, Sylvia Hernandez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Rosa Rodriguez of Greeley, 29 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Preceding Ricardo in death are his parents, a brother, Juan Cruz and two sisters, Delia Cruz and Petra Zamora. A funeral service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Those who desire may view Mr. Cruz Monday, 12 - 4 p.m. and Tuesday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
