With a heavy heart, we have to say goodbye to a very special guy. Rex lived a very eventful, but full life. He served in the military (Marines) in 1966-1968. He loved his career as an Excavator/Heavy equipment operator for 35 years and was great at it. Rex was preceded in death by his Dad and Mom, three brothers, as well as a sister.
He leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Loretta Wilson; two daughters, Tammy Shaw (Sam) and Terri Bertram; and a stepdaughter, Kristine Ann. He also leaves behind four grandkids, Kendall Johnson, Julian Chavez, Saliz Chavez, and Jayden Bertram; two step grandkids, Kyle Willford and Alissha Post; and three great grandkids, Brysen Kinnison, Kodi Post and Lex Nova. Rex had many nieces and nephews, too many to list.
He leaves behind sisters Judy White, Janet Wilson, Carol Shaw, Iola Carter (Chuck), and a brother Charles Wilson. He leaves behind a sister-in-law Carolyn Pickle, brother-in-law Raymond, Taulman (Margaret), along with several lifetime friends that were more like brothers.
Rex will be missed by all, including his furr buddies Buddy and Ruger.
Rex had a huge loving heart. Rest in Peace Rex, you deserve it. I Loretta will love you forever!
We will have a get together to celebrate his life at a later date.
