Reuel Kellogg Dreves, 87, of Rist Canyon, Bellvue, Colorado, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025, surrounded in the love of her family.
Born on March 21, 1938, in Madison, Wisconsin, Reuel grew up in Chicago, Illinois, where she met her high school sweetheart, John Dreves. Their love story spanned an extraordinary 68 years of marriage, filled with shared adventures and countless cherished memories.
Reuel was an avid gardener and she found joy in nurturing her plants and creating a haven for the birds and wildlife that graced their Rist Canyon home.
Reuel is survived by her devoted husband, John Dreves; her children, Dan Dreves, Amy Dreves, and Jill Rawlins Dreves; her beloved grandchildren, Sam and Charlie; and her sister, Sue Emmel.
Private family services will be held.
