Raymond Mercado Rodriguez

Raymond James Mercado Rodriguez, 43, of Fort Collins, died Saturday, July 9, 2005, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. A Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Fr. Douglas Hunt, C.R., will officiate. Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel D. Crawford, Lloyd Crawford Jr., Brian J. Crawford, James Rodriguez, Johnny Martinez, Armando Luna, Raymond Mireles, Eric Mireles and Lupe Mercado. Raymond Rodriguez was born Jan. 16, 1962, in Fort Collins to Simona Mercado. He married Lisa Mireles. They later divorced. He lived in Fort Collins all his life. He was a truck driver for BMC Materials. Survivors include four sons, Raymond Thomas, Raymond Jr., Eric and Diamond; two daughters, Tanya and April; his mother, Simona Mercado, of Houston; four sisters, Maria Sanchez and her husband, David, of Fort Collins, Rosie Urrutia and her husband, Joaquin, of Fort Collins, Beatrice Mercado and her husband, Martin, of Kennewick, Wash., and Louise Crawford and her husband, Daniel Arredondo, of Houston; three brothers, David Mercado, of Fort Collins, Lloyd Crawford and his wife, Minerva, of Houston, and Jeff Crawford and his wife, Rachel, of San Antonio; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a grandchild. To our loving son, brother, uncle and friend, whom we love. He will be missed very dearly. May he rest in peace from this day forward.
