Raymond Roger Grilley went to be with the Lord in the early hours of Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at home in Fort Collins, CO. He passed peacefully next to his beautiful wife of 64 years. Raymond was born November 9, 1936 in Minot, ND. He grew up in Deering, ND and graduated high school. Raymond joined the United States Air Force in 1958. He was stationed at Castle Air Force Base in Merced, CA as a airplane mechanic. He was proud to have worked on the B52 Bombers. It was in Modesto, CA that he met his wife, Barbara. Once married, they eventually moved to Colorado and he found employment working for Dover Elevator company as a repair mechanic for passenger elevators. After servicing elevators for 30 years in Northern Colorado and parts of Wyoming, Raymond retired. He was then able to concentrate on his health, traveling with Barbara across the United States. His love of rocks and woodworking would keep him busy around the house creating beautiful jewelry or clocks. Up to the date he passed Raymond was a faithful servant to God and his word, was a loyal and loving husband, father and friend to many.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents Norris and Lillian Grilley and his siblings, Wesley, Lillian, Howard, Emmett, Robert, Melvin, Joyce, Lois, Donna, Diane, and Ellen.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Barbara, his sons Raymond Loren Grilley (Connie), Wesley Grilley (Martha), Randall Grilley (Dianne), and his daughter Traci Grilley. He had 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Raymond will be remembered as a gentle and caring man extending his kindness to others in need, his faithfulness, compassion, honesty, loyality and the love he had for his wife.
