Listen to Obituary
Randy Stegner, 44, of Fort Collins went home to be with his Lord and savior on May 6, 2007. Randy was born in Fort Collins on March 2, 1963. He grew up on a dairy farm north of town and graduated from Poudre High School in 1981. He then attended Aims Community College in Greeley. However, anyone who knew Randy knows Randy's life can't and shouldn't be measured by what he did, it was about who he was. Randy had compassion and cared for people in a way very few do. He was someone who would do anything for his family and friends whom he loved so much. Anyone who ever met him couldn't help but be drawn to his magnetic personality. He may not have had many worldly material possessions, but what he had and has now measures far greater. He loved attending Timberline Church, where he would go to praise and worship the Lord Jesus Christ. Losing Randy from this earth is going to leave a huge hole in the hearts of all that knew and loved him. However, we have the comfort to know that we will be with him again. Randy was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Clint and Helen Owens. Survivors include his parents, Gary and Pat Stegner; brother, James Stegner and wife Eunice; nephew, Michael;brother, Dan Stegner and wife Aimee; nephews, Jackson and Joshua, all of Fort Collins; grandparents, Bob and Betty Stegner of Fort Collins, a great Aunt Alpha Bowman whom he was very close to, and lots of other uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Timberline Church, 2908 S. Timberline Road. Pastor Darren Fred will officiate. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Friends may send condolences at bohlenderfuneralchapel.com.
