In Loving Memory of Randy Bonneville
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Randy Bonneville on Sunday, September 7th, 2025. Born on October 5th, 1952, in Norfolk, Virginia, to Robert Bonneville and Furn Mielke.
Randy had a passion for family, golf, and mechanical things. He loved old muscle cars, was endlessly knowledgeable on a wide variety of topics, and was always the go-to person when someone needed an answer or a helping hand. He had a gift for building and designing, from home projects to beautiful landscapes, and was proud to maintain the nicest yard in the neighborhood.
Professionally, Randy dedicated his life to the construction and care of golf courses. He led the team that built Southridge Golf Course in Fort Collins, Colorado, and served as the superintendent from its initial groundbreaking in 1984, until his retirement in 2018, leaving a lasting legacy on the course he helped shape.
Randy is survived by his loving wife, Julie Haag; his sons Jason Bonneville (Laurie), Brian Bonneville (Kim), Adam Bonneville, and Christopher Haag; and his seven grandchildren, Anthone Lewis, Kelsea Bonneville, Blake Bonneville, Jacek Bonneville, Hannah Bonneville, Averie Bonneville and Macie Bonneville.
Family, friends, and all whose lives Randy touched are invited to join in celebrating his life. Share stories, memories, and companionship at an Open House Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 4th, at Mackenzie's Pub & Grill, Southridge Golf Course, 5750 S Lemay Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80525, from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
Randy's warmth, wisdom, and spirit will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
