Ramona Mason, 62, passed away April 25, 2017 in Mesa, AZ. She was born June 9, 1954 in Fort Collins, CO. Ramona graduated from Poudre High School in 1972.
Ramona married Larry Mason of Fort Collins on on June 11, 1977. Ramona and Larry spent many years working side by side traveling the country in their OTR driving jobs. Ramona was active in the Women of the Moose fraternal lodge since 1985 attaining the Academy of Friendship, Past Senior Regent and College of Regent.
Ramona and Larry moved to Mesa, AZ in 2004 where she had been working as a bookkeeper for a local medical firm and for a local church.
Ramona dedicated 40 years to her marriage with Larry. Ramona loved all of her family and friends blessing everyone with her smile and loving heart. She will be missed greatly by all that knew and loved her.
Ramona is survived by her husband Larry Mason; her mother, Harriet Bivens; brother, Richard Bivens and wife, Adri and children; sister, Roberta and husband Larry Johnston and daughters; brother, Ramon and wife, Carrie Bivens and children; brother, Rex and Regina Bivens and children; and all the many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her step-sons Lonnie Mason and wife Kaye; Scott Mason and wife Patsy as well as 6 grandchildren; Chris and Lindsey Mason; Amanda Mason; Travis Mason; Katrina Mason; and Nicholas Mason. Ramona also has one great-grandchild Daniel Mason
Ramona was preceded in death by her Father Oran Bivens.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 5th, 2017 at 1:00pm at Bohlender Funeral Chapel 121 W. Olive St., Fort Collins, CO 80524.
