Rachael G. Keever

Rachael G. Keever, 90, of Fort Collins, died April 2, 2013 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mrs. Keever was born January 12, 1923 in Kimball, Nebraska to George Adam and Katherine Elizabeth Schraeder. She worked the family sugar beet farm outside of Wellington as well as the cherry factory. She also managed the downstairs of Woolworths. Rachael was involved in the Moose Lodge. She had a passion for collecting dolls and hummingbirds. She enjoyed bowling and going to dances in Wellington to Dutch hop. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Gfeller of Fort Collins, son, Richard Wood of Oregon; brother, Solomon Schraeder of Montana; and three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many others whom she opened her heart to. Preceding Rachael in death are her first husband, Winifred Gfeller, her second husband, Donald E. Keever; daughter, Patricia Noah; four brothers and three sisters. No service will be held.
