Pricilla Ann Meakins

Pricilla Ann "Chris" Meakins, 78, of Bellvue, died November 4, 2012 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mrs. Meakins was born September 15, 1934 in Catskill, New York to Durward and Netta Scott. Chris married William E. "Bill" Meakins, Jr. Chris and Bill were married on Dec. 30, 1977 in Arizona. Bill preceded Chris in death in 2003. Chris enjoyed woodworking, fishing and golf. Mrs. Meakins moved to Colorado from Salt Lake City, Utah in 1968. Chris worked as an executive secretary for Continental Airlines. Survivors include her sons, Steve Laura Johnson of Aurora and Michael Lynn Johnson; step-daughters, Kerry Sue Herb Black and Marilyn John Starrett both of Denver; sister, Patricia Snoke of Fort Collins; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial contributions can be made to Poudre Canyon Fire Protection District in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, Colorado 80524. A Memorial service will be held at Poudre Canyon Chapel, 33707 Poudre Canyon Hwy, November 30, 2012 at noon with a reception to follow at the Upper Poudre Canyon Community Building next door to the chapel. These are both located at mile marker 88.8. Pastor Dick Brown will officiate the service.
