Farewell to a Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother
With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we say goodbye to our sweet mom, loving grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Phyllis Carol Greenbank, 95, of Fort Collins passed away peacefully in her home May 3, 2026. She was born in Haxton, CO on April 21, 1931, to William and Dora Marlatt. She lived in Colorado most of her life, spending some time in California after her marriage to Robert Greenbank in 1951. She worked for the public school system and for CSU in the athletic department before retiring in 1996.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and four sisters, her husband and a daughter. She is survived by her son and three daughters, ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Her family was very important to her. We will remember her for her faith, her humor, her laughter, her warmth, her sweetness, and her love for a good glass of wine. She enjoyed many holidays and family gatherings surrounded by those she loved.
Farewell, sweet mom. Rest peacefully, knowing you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
