Phyllis Elaine Elliott

Phyllis Elliott of Fort Collins passed away surrounded by her family, November 5, 2012. She was born Phyllis Patzel on January 14, 1942 to Fred and Clara Patzel at Norfolk, Nebraska. She moved to Fort Collins with her family in 1942. Phyllis was married to V.J. Elliott on June 2, 1969. They later divorced. Phyllis enjoyed life as a homemaker and a licensed day care provider. She loved listening to music, and was a devout Christian. She is survived by son, Kendall Elliott Bobbie; and daughter, Sherry Elliott-Ramirez. Phyllis was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Also her sisters, Dorothy Snider of Silverdale, Washington, Joyce West, and Patricia March of Fort Collins. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Ronald, Kenneth, Jerry, and 1 sister, Darlene Swansey and her beloved fiancé, Dwayne Stewart. A celebration of life will be held on Friday at 12:30 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Those who wish may view Phyllis from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow with a private graveside service at Rest Heaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
