Peter Harras

Peter ?Pete? Harras, 85, of Fort Collins, died November 3, 2010 at his home. Mr. Harras was born January 16, 1925 in Silt, Colorado to Adam and Mary Margaret Harras. Pete married Helen Rupp on April 14, 1949 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Mr. Harras lived in the Fort Collins area all his life. He worked in construction as a carpenter. Pete loved fishing, WWII History and his dog, Herc. Survivors include his wife, Helen; children, Tim, Terry, Tina, Teresa; and Travis; brothers and sister, Vic, Rueben, and Ruth; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Preceding Pete in death are his brothers and sisters, Anna, Adam, Jr., Palmer, Mary, Esther, Pauline, Henry, and Daniel; and grandchild, Dalton. A Memorial Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors by the Fort Collins All Veterans Honor Guard will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
