She is preceded in death by her two nephews Javier Jr. and Richard Flores; her mother Apolinaria Serna; her two grandmothers; four uncles; three aunts; and several cousins.
She is survived by her father Juan Serna; her sisters Loretta Ruiz and Barbara S. Floreo; her five children Michael Diaz-Dominguez, Juan Diaz-Dominguez, Bella Serna-Muniz, and Eric and Layla Rodriguez; her nieces Maria P. Serna and Vanessa Flores; two nephews Miguel Antonio Serna-Martinez and Juan Enrique Serna; four grandchildren Xavier (Ziggy), Angelo, and Indio Diaz-Dominguez and Aeomia Moncloyio-Muniz.
