Paula Winkler

Paula Winkler, 81, of Fort Collins, died August 23, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Winkler was born May 25, 1931 in Wanne-Eickel, Germany to Johann Skoda and Bronislawa Tomaszewski Skoda. Paula married Hans Richard Winkler on March 30, 1954 in Dover, New Jersey. Mrs. Winkler was a cook for Senior Chuck Wagon Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, knitting, walking, swimming, and loved caring for her grandsons, Brendan and Cameron Kelley. Survivors include her sons, Hans Winkler of Wharton, New Jersey, Herbert Winkler of Columbia, New Jersey; daughter, Sandra Winkler of Fort Collins, Colorado; and six grandchildren. Preceding Paula in death are her husband, Hans; two brothers and two sisters. A memorial service and reception will be held at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1200 S Taft Hill Road on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Pastor J. Dana Peterson will officiate the service.
