Paul Pierce

Paul Omra Pierce was born Nov. 29, 1922, to Omra A. and Dezde Pierce in Cape Girandean, Mo. Paul passed away on April 26, 2006, in Fort Collins. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Imogene Roberts, of Denver; and a brother, who died in infancy. Paul married Louise Campbell on Nov. 24, 1942 in Greeley. Paul was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and served as a teletype operator. Upon retirement from the Air Force, Paul and Louise settled in Greeley. In 1948, the couple moved their home to Fort Collins. Paul retired from Colorado State University in July of 1983. A memorial service for Paul will be announced at a later date.
