Paul was born to Earl & Esther Browning in Pittsburg, KS. Growing up Paul lived in Baldwin Parl, CA., graduating from Baldwin Park High School. After high school he joined the United States Air Force in February of 1972, where he served for 20 years. He held the rank of Tech Sgt. - E-6 Security Supervisor Police - Dog Handler. (Air Police) While serving overseas at the Utiapo Air Base near Bangkok, Thailand his duties required him to patrol the exterior of the base with his dog. While in the performance of those duties he was exposed to Agent Orange. The effects of that exposure did not become apparent until 2015 when he was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. He was not able to Perform his duties while working as a Custody Officer with the Larmier County Sheriff's Department at Larimer County Jail. He was forced to leave the position and was never able to work again.
He loved dogs, music, Dr. Pepper and T.V.. He has his remote control Velcroed to the arm of his favorite recliner. He loved to cook stir-fry and spaghetti, otherwise cold cereal would do. Singing in the choir at church was a favorite thing to do and brought him great joy. He was an amazing brother and friend who could always be counted on to help out with whatever was needed. His pleasant demeanor and positive attitude caused all who knew him to love him.
He is survived by two sisters, Clara Kelly of Fort Collins and Judy Howell of Estes Park. He was proceeded in death by his parents, and his dog Mokie.
