Listen to Obituary
Patsy "Pat" Cameron's feisty demeanor sadly ended when she passed at home with family by her side on November 12, 2018.

Pat was born on August 30, 1930 in Emporia, Kansas to Richard and Eva Shunk. She married the love of her life, Curtis Cameron, 54 years ago on December 16, 1964.

Pat was a true homemaker. People who knew her remember Pat for her cooking. She was famous for her pies, cakes, rolls and homemade chicken and noodles. Sewing, however, was her favorite craft. She made clothes, quilts and dolls that will be treasured forever.

Pat volunteered throughout her life. She was room mother for her five children, an Election Judge for many years, President of the V.F.W and the American Legion Women's Auxiliaries for three years each. Pat and Curt were recognized as Home Town Hero's for their participation in the Honor Guard in 2005. After the children left, Pat enjoyed her grandchildren, square dancing and traveling with her husband throughout Colorado. They took numerous trips to Alaska as well.

Pat Cameron is survived by her husband, Curt, and her children Clark Standiferd (Tracy) of Loveland, Susan Zen (Raymond) of Sterling, Cindy Standiferd of Durango, Craig Standiferd of Sterling and Wendy Cameron (Keith) of Westminster, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be Spring, 2019.
