Patricia Wells passed away peacefully February 13, 2016. God took her to be with her husband Kermit, which was one of her greatest desires since his passing. Pat was born in Deer Lodge, Montana, November 4, 1931, to Ethel and Alexander Fenion. Pat and Kermit moved to Fort Collins in 1959 where they raised their family. They had two children; Dr. Gordan (Suzy) Wells and Gwen (Gerald) Forbes. Pat loved her grandchildren; Matt (Stephanie) Wells, Aubrey (Chris) Baar, Doug Heisel, Dr. Arica (Dan) Abrames and Dr. Kaitlin Heisel. She was also blessed with 10 great grandchildren. Pat has a surviving sister, Sandy Gleason.
Pat loved her flower gardens, belonging to an Iris club and a Lily club. She shared her knowledge with friends and neighbors and delighted in giving her "special" starts to her family and friends (with detailed instructions of course). Also important to Pat were her bridge groups who have been such a great support through this transition.
The family has learned about the value of love, kindness, friendship, generosity and patience because of Pat. What better gift could be passed down?
As per Pat's request there will be no public service. The family will gather in the mountains this summer to honor her life.
The family would like to thank Pathways Hospice for their invaluable help during this time. Donations made be made in honor of Pat's name to Pathways Hospice of Northern Colorado, 305 Carpenter Road, Fort Collins, CO, 80525. Friends may send condolences to the family at bohlenderfuneralchapel.com.
