Patricia Anne Stermitz

Patricia (Work) Stermitz was born March 9, 1929, in Long Beach, California to Nelle (Tompkins) and Fitz Work.

She grew up blocks from the Pacific and loved rowing her homemade boat in Alamitos Bay. Pat attended the University of Colorado to ski, graduating in 1952. She met her future husband, Frank, at CU before returning to California to teach first grade.

They reunited when Frank was in Monterey for army language school, marrying in 1954 in Lemon Grove, CA. Pat and Frank lived in Germany, Boulder, California and Utah before settling into their University Acres home, Ft Collins,1967.

Pat loved people. Abundantly creative, she enjoyed sewing, crafting and traveling the world with Frank.

Preceded in death by son, Danny, Pat is survived by Frank; children: Tom (Analii) Ft Collins; Joe (Karen) France; Gretchen (Kelly Kissock) Davis, CA; Matt, Gardnerville, NV; seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Pat passed away peacefully at home, February 10.

A rosary will be said March 8, at 1:30pm at Bohlender Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm
