Patricia Marion Lutz was born to Bob and Jo Brownlee in Laramie, Wyoming, Januar 27, 1952 and she January ,
passed away at her home in Walden, Colorado March 20, 2010. Patty graduated high school in 1970. She eventually went on to finish at Barn's School of Business in Denver, Colorado. Patty's life was full of laughter, excitement and a variety of "projects". She was involved in many clubs and organizations, including North Park Cattlewomen, North Park Pioneer Association, North Park Lions Club, and the 1990 Nation's National Christmas Tree. On top of all the organizations she was involved in, she had a number of different jobs: She worked on the family ranch, waitressed, owned a gift shop, and for the county; but her favorite job was working for the North Park
Chamber of Commerce. Patty lived in Walden for most of her life and raised both of her daughters here. Trish was born in 1974, and Kelsi in 1990. Most that knew Patty at all, knew her voice and opinions. At only 4 foot 9 inches tall, she made up in size with her boisterous attitude and conviction. She was definitely one of a kind, and a most memorable character. Patty was someone you couldn't ever forget. She was preceded in death by her son Russell Baker, brother David Brownlee, and parents Bob and Jo Brownlee. She is survived by two daughters, Trisha Bartek and Kelsi Swift-Lutz; three sisters, Bobbie Jo Geer, Vicki Sessions and Judi Sheneman; sister-in-law Kaydee Brownlee; granddaughter Mckenna Jolynn Tremelling; 14 nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews; and a host of great friends and several young people that considered her their second "Mom". Services will be at the North Park Community Church on Friday, March 26 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Patricia Lutz Foundation in care of the Mountain Valley Bank.
